The death has occurred of Seán Gorman, Cloncurry, Newtown, Kildare / Enfield, Meath.

The death has occurred of Seán Gorman Cloncurry, Enfield, Co. Kildare, October 18 2025.

In the care of Redwood Ward and the Palliative Care team, Connolly Hospital, and in the presence of his loving family.

Seán will always be loved, and greatly missed, by his wife and best friend Rene (nee Greville): his family Maria, Feena, Maeve, Eithne, Enda, Breeda and Regina; his daughter in law Kate, sons in law Noel, Michael, Patrick, James, Ollie and David, and his twenty grandchildren: his sisters Kathleen and Olive, brothers in law, nieces, nephew, cousins, great neighbours and friends. And most especially, his clubmates in Cappagh GAA & Camogie Club.

May Seán Rest in Peace.

The death has occurred of Patrick Kissane, Castleroe West, Maganey, Athy, Kildare / Ballybunion, Kerry. Formerly Lahesrough North, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry.

Predecgeased by his parents Nora and Mick, brothers David, Jimmy, John and Michael, sister Maureen, grandson Dara.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bernadette, sons Kieran and John, daughter-in-law Olivia, granddaughter Kayla, sister Annie, brother Dominic, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in his son John's residence (Eircode R14A431) on Tuesday from 2pm Concluding with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 11:30am to The Church Of The Assumption, Castledermot (eircode R14P264), arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon.

Followed by Burial in Levitstown Cemetery (eircode R93WT35).

The death has occurred of Una Coyle (née Foley), Naas, Kildare.

The death has occurred of Una Coyle (née Foley) Late of Pacelli Road, Naas and formerly of Two-Mile-House. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Naas Hospital following a short illness. Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick.

Una will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her sons Paul and David, daughters Mary, Linda and Susan, grandchildren Eoin, Mark, Fiona, Gavin, Emma, Lauren, Debbie and David, great-grandchildren Jason, Amber, Ryan, Sofia, Olivia, Leo and Hugo, sons-in-law Gerry and Gus, daughters-in-law Anne and Paula, sister Marion, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday (October 21) at 11am in St. Peter's Church, Two-Mile-House followed by burial at Two-Mile-House Cemetery.

Anna Hughes (née Rowan)

The death has occurred of Anna Hughes (née Rowan), Pairc Bhride, Athy, Kildare.

Anna Hughes née Rowan of Pairc Bhride, Athy and formerly of Tomard, passed away peacefully on Friday October 17 surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff of Our Lady’s Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Athy.

Predeceased by her parents John and Annie Rowan, her brother Edward (Dinky), sisters Sheila and Dina and devoted husband Martin.

Sadly missed by her children Geraldine, Rose Ann, Jennifer, Margaret, Grace and Martin, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, her 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, brother Johnny, sisters Betty, Kitty, Peggy and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Sunday (October 19) from 2pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 10.30am on Monday morning (October 20) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie

Mary Moore (née Brennan)

The death has occurred of Mary Moore (née Brennan), Derrymullen Bridge, Robertstown, Kildare, W91 K2RE / Allenwood, Kildare.

Peacefully at her home in her 96th year surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Tom and family members.

Mary will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Lucy, sons Ray, Cyril and his wife Bridget, grandchildren Sinéad, Emma, Pádhraic, Tom, Dearbhla, Jennifer, Barry and their partners, great grandchildren Ciana, Enya, Faye, Ali, Ayda and Kayla, sister Peg, brothers Vincent and Niall, brothers and sisters in law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her family home at Derrymullen Bridge (W91 K2RE) from 1pm on Sunday and Monday with rosary both nights at 7pm.
Removal from her family home by Glennons Funeral Directors on Tuesday morning to arrive at the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Allenwood for requiem mass at 11am.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph (Joey) and much loved mother of John, Caroline, Pauline, Noel and the late Desmond and Brendan.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmy, sisters Nancy, Maureen, and Kathleen. Rita, cherished mother to Gerard, Kathleen and Ita. Grandchildren Amy, Alan, Aidan, Shane, Hazel, and Jackie and their partners. Great-grandchildren Croía, Kieran and Mason. Daughter-in-law Ann, Son-in-law Seamus, Brother John, and sisters Bridge and Mona. Niece Emma, Nephews Niall, Shane and Johnnie. Also, her treasured Friends and Neighbours.

Rita's remains will arrive for funeral prayers this Tuesday evening, October 21, at St Mary’s Church, Broadford, at 6 pm.

Funeral Mass, on Wednesday October 22 at 12.30 pm and burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rita’s Funeral Mass will be broadcast on Wednesday. The link will be announced on Wednesday morning.
