Tributes have been paid to a Kildare man fondly remembered by loved ones as 'a kind and honourable man.'
Liam Cowley, Allenview Heights, Newbridge and late of the The Curragh Camp, passed on December 12 2025, peacefully at Naas Hospital.
Liam is predeceased by his loving wife Frances and his parents Jim & Nancy Cowley. He is sadly missed by his sisters Marguerite and Olivia and his brother Jay, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
May Liam Rest in Peace.

Tributes paid to Liam on RIP.ie include: “So saddened on hearing the news of Liam's passing. I have such fond memories of Fran and Liam together. May he rest softly now with his lovely Fran. Sincere condolences to the Cowley and the Nolan families.”
And: “Sincere condolences to the Cowley & Nolan families on the sad passing of Liam. May he Rest in Peace reunited now with his beloved Fran.”
While another mourner wrote: “Sorry to hear of Liam's passing. Liam was a lovely gentleman. He was very helpful and courteous to me when I served in the Defence Forces in the Curragh. He was very professional in his job in the Engineering section DFTC. May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
And another added: “Rest in Peace Liam, you were always a kind and honourable man, sadly missed.”
