The death has occurred of Martin Phelan, Dara Park, Newbridge, Kildare.

PHELAN Martin (Dara Park, Newbridge, Co. Kildare) - January 15 2026 (peacefully) at Naas Hospital.

Predeceased by his dad Desmond (Des). Sadly missed by his loving partner Bridget, children Jessica, Desmond and Alex, his mother Mary, son-in-law Dylan, granddaughter Aria, father-in-law David, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles and a wide circle of friends.

May Martin rest in peace

The death has occurred of Jean Tidd (née Hughes), Dara Park, Newbridge, Kildare.

TIDD Jean, née Hughes (Dara Park, Newbridge, Co. Kildare) - January 14 2026 (peacefully) in Cloverlodge nursing home, Athy surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Andy. Sadly missed by her loving family Sophia, Anton & Christine, grandchildren Michael, Chris, Cian, Craig, Jade, Kim, Andrew, Tileigh, Cassie & Sam, sons-in-law Joe & Michael, daughter-in-law Maggie, sisters Mary, Nancy & Margaret, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Maura, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Jean rest in peace.

Reposing at her daughter Sophia’s residence Old Chapel Grove, Caragh, W91Y327 on Sunday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

Removal by Anderson & Leahy Funeral Directors on Monday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church for Mass at 11am. Mass can be viewed on https://newbridgeparish.ie/parish-church

Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.

Margaret Waldron

The death has occurred of Margaret WALDRON, Naas, Kildare.

Waldron (Naas) – January 15, 2026, (after a long illness), in the loving care of the staff at Naas General Hospital.

Margaret (Maggie), beloved sister of Peter. Pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters; Sadly missed by her loving brother, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and her best friends Amanda, Moll and Esther.

Reposing on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm with Prayers at 3:30pm, at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, 55 South Main Street, Naas, W91 HX90.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas.

Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Murphy Brothers Funeral Directors Church Lane, Naas Ph: 045 897397.
