RIP: Tributes paid to Newbridge, Kildare woman who passed this week

Tributes have poured in following the passing of Newbridge, Co Kildare woman Patricia (Pat) Harty (née O'Neill).

Pat - Baroda Court, Newbridge, Kildare and formerly of Strawhall, The Curragh – passed peacefully on February 4 2026 in the professional and loving care of Willowbrook nursing home family.

Pat is sadly missed by her loving husband Eddie, children Edward, Eoin & Freda, daughters-in-law Marie & Kathy, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren Nick, Gerard, Patrick, Carolyn & Eddie, great-granddaughter Anabelle, sister Joan, devoted family friend Teresa, extended family, relatives and friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Anderson & Leahy’s funeral home, Henry Street, Newbridge, on Sunday February 8 from 4pm to 6pm with prayers at 5.30pm.

Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church for 11am Mass. Mass can be viewed on https://newbridgeparish.ie/parish-church

Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth’s Cemetery Newbridge.

Tributes paid to Pat this week on RIP.ie include: “So sorry to hear of Mrs Harty passing, my sincere condolences to all the family. May she rest in peace.”

And: “To Eddie, Edward, Eoin, Freda and Pat's sister Joan. Thinking of you all at this sad time. May Pat rest in peace.”

While another mourner wrote: “Deepest sympathies to Eddie and all the family on Pat's passing. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.”

And another added: “My deepest sympathies to Eddie, Eddie, Marie, Patrick, Carolyn and all Pat’s family and friends. Pat was a lovely person. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. May she rest in peace.”
