The death has occurred of Helen Leonard (née Waldron), Celbridge, Kildare.
Leonard, Helen (née Waldron), (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo). February 14, 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
Beloved wife of the late Hugh and much loved mother of Marie, John and Louise and a cherished nanny of Rebecca, Emmet, Sean, Anna, Joe, Cúla, Rosie and Laoise and great grandmother of Mae. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, sister Bridie, brother John, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sons-in-law Eoin and Rossa, daughter-in-law Siobhan, the extended Waldron and Leonard families, neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her residence (W23 YE18) on Monday evening (February 16) between 4 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (February 17) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Tuesday evening (February 17) from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Passed peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Beloved husband of Gabrielle (Gay) (née McGahy) and much-loved father of Jennifer, Philip, Francis and Monica.

Nicholas Walsh
The death has occurred of Nicholas Walsh, Chanterlands, Athy, Kildare. Late of Coláiste Lorcáin, Castledermot.
Nicholas passed away peacefully after a short illness, bravely borne. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (d. 1999), his brother Frank and sisters Kathleen and Mary.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Mark and Ken and daughters Sinéad and Deirdre, daughters-in-law Bríd and Madeline, son-in-law Berend, his adored grandchildren Conor, Ronan, Dylan, Darcy and Cillian, his dear friend Rhona, brothers Dick, Mike, Tommy and Pierce, his extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
