Tributes have been paid to “a wonderful man” from Ballymore Eustace, Kildare, who passed on February 21 last.
Gerry (Jeremiah) Toomey, Poulaphouca, Ballymore Eustace, Kildare passed in the loving care of his daughter Irena and son-in-law, Anthony on February 21 2026.
Gerry is the loving husband of his Late wife Kathleen and devoted father to his daughter, Irena.

He will be dearly missed by his family, son in law Anthony, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces, great grand nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
May Gerry’s kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Gerry will be reposing in Clarke's Funeral Home, Burgage More, Blessington, Co. Wicklow W91 YN79 on Friday, February 27 from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, February 28 to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymore Eustace arriving for 11.00 am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
