Beloved son of the late Billy and Maggie and brother of the late Josephine and Billy.

McCarthy, Daniel, Laurence Avenue, Maynooth and formerly of Bundoran, Co. Donegal, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, February 27 2026 peacefully at The Residence Nursing Home, Maynooth, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, parents Paddy and Mary, brothers Padraig and Declan and sister Kathleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his children Ronan, Lorna and Donal, friend Pat, daughters-in-law Sam, Aline, Suzie and Mary, son-in-law Paul, adored grandchildren Jodie, Abi, Louis and Sophie, brothers Luke, Gerard, Paul and Mark, sisters Gaye, Betty and Mary, Aunt Monica, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Danny was the much-loved Lead Singer with Fiddlers Green and will be fondly remembered for his music, voice and friendship by all who knew him.

JAMES (JIM) BEHAN, Ballyhorgan, Ballyduff, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of St. Corbins, Naas, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully on the 27th February, 2026, at University Hospital Kerry.

Predeceased by his parents Mag and Con, niece Winifred, sisters-in-law Theresa and Joan and brothers-in-law Spencer and Timmy.

Funeral cortege arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Ballyduff on Wednesday (March 4) at 10:45am where Requiem Mass for Jim Behan will be celebrated at 11:00am followed by burial in Rahela Cemetery, Ballyduff.

(Peacefully) in the dedicated and loving care of all staff at Larchfield Care Centre.
Mary, predeceased by her parents William and Alice, her sister Frances and former husband Richard.
