Died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 5 2026 in the loving embrace of his family.
Beloved husband of Margaret. Treasured son of Pauline (née Murphy) and the late Tony, cherished nephew of Tom Murphy.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, mother, uncle, cousins and entire family circle and friends.

Maura Redmond, (née Fingleton), Moatfield, Athy, Co. Kildare passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff of Cloverlodge Nursing Home, Athy.
Predeceased by her husband Denis, her parents Jimmy and Molly and son-in-law Sham.
Maura will be sadly missed by her son and daughters Mag (Mick), Caroline (John), Kieran (Sandra), Jackie (Vincent), her grandchildren A.J., Nikita, Michael, Adam, Ciara, Ashleigh, Lisa, Cody, Ross, Ryan and Abbie, great grandchildren, brothers Seamie and Mick (Annie), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Maura will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy, (R14 NX80) on Sunday March 8, 2026 from 4pm until conclusion of the Rosary at 7pm.
Arriving at St. Ita’s Church, Kilmead for 11am Requiem Mass on Monday March 9, 2026, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
