Martin Chanders

The death has occurred of Martin Chanders, Greenhills, Athy, Kildare.

Martin Chanders, Greenhills, Athy, Co. Kildare passed away suddenly on Wednesday March 18, 2026.

Predeceased by his mother and father Jane and Patrick (Cuddy) Chanders and his brothers Denis and Shay, sister-in-law Sheila.

Martin will be sadly missed by his brothers Dom, Cha, Robert and his sister Esther, brother-in-law Ger, sisters-in-law Maureen and Patricia, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Funeral Arrangements will be published on Friday evening.

Laura Kelly (née Sledge)

The death has occurred of Laura Kelly (née Sledge), Trinity Crescent, Derrinturn, Carbury, Kildare

Also Stalybridge, Manchester, UK.

Laura passed away (unexpectedly) surrounded by her loving family in Mullingar Regional Hospital. Predeceased by her father Cyril and her mother-in-law Kathleen.

She will be sadly missed by her family: husband Noel, daughter Samantha, son Harry, mother Florence, brother Andrew, sisters Michelle and Gail, father-in-law Mylo, grandchildren Alfie, Henry, Sophia, Oskar and Theo, son-in-law Daniel, daughter-in-law Ellie, sisters-in-law Joanna and Andrea, brothers-in-law Tony and Michael, extended family, relatives and friends.

A Cremation Service for Laura will take place this Monday at 13:30 at Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin.

Peacefully at his residence with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his brother Bobby & sister Peg.

Anne Devaney (née Gill)
The death has occurred of Anne Devaney (née Gill), Newtown, Eadestown, Naas, Kildare.

March 18 2026. Peacefully, at Tallaght Univergsity Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Tom and loving mum of Fergal and Laura.

Anne will be forever loved and sadly missed by her loving husband and children, grandson baby Tom, son-in-law Chonaill, Fergal’s partner Rachael, sisters Maureen and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, Co. Kildare (W91 CD0K) on Sunday March 22 from 1pm to 3pm.

Funeral on Monday March 23 with Requiem Mass at 10am at St Brigid’s Church, Kill, followed by burial at Staplestown Cemetery.

Reposing at Glennons Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge on Sunday (March 22) from 4pm - 6pm with prayers at 5:30pm.

Removal on Monday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Suncroft for requiem mass at 11am, followed by cremation service in Newlands Church Crematorium at 1pm.

Family flowers only please.
