Decision due on re-building fire-damaged cottage near National Stud
13:30 Saturday 12th of January 2019

Kildare Co Council planners are to make a decision next week on plans to re-construct a fire-damaged home outside Kildare Town.

Works are being proposed for the semi-detached cottage at Tully East, near the National Stud and Japanese Gardens.

The fire broke out in the property in July 2017.

An applicant wants to demolish the existing fire-damaged semi-detached cottage and to erect a new
cottage in its place.

The proposed new property would mirror the height, building lines, fenestration and materials of the old building.
