A Co Kildare family are desperately appealing for help to find their beloved 16-year-old Jack Russell terrier dog, Suzie, who fell into a rushing river in Leixlip on Sunday.

At 12 pm lunchtime last Sunday, February 10, Suzie fell into the River Rye at Leixlip village (near Aldi), and she has not been seen since. Her owners are said to be 'distraught' and are urging anyone with information to contact them.

Suzie is white with brown fur and she is micro-chipped.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Suzie is asked to contact the DSPCA by emailing [email protected]
