'Dog buggies' may be coming to Kildare Village shopping outlet soon

Shoppers in Kildare Village may soon be able to avail of 'dog buggies' to wheel their pets around while they browse top brands like Gucci and Armani.
The trolleys are currently available to rent to customers in sister outlets run by the Value Retail group in Germany and Belgium.
Fashion-savvy shoppers can push their pampered pooch around while they snap up bargains.

Kildare Village already offers free secure kennels to keep pets happy while their owners are shopping.
But sources at the attraction off the M7 motorway said the dog trolleys may be rolled out to customers if there is sufficient demand.
Meanwhile, the outlet is on course to open ten more stores before the end of the year.
A €50 million expansion spanning 60,000 square feet opened in late 2015 and will bring the number of high-end fashion stores in the village to circa 100.
One of the biggest units is operated by award-winning Belgian restaurant and bakery, Le Pain Quotidien.
The Village attracts 2.5 million guests per annum including long haul travellers from the US, China and the Middle East.
