A book of condolences is being opened at Leixlip Library and the County Council building in Naas tomorrow for the mother of five who was incorrectly told her smear test results were normal up until she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016.
The books, for Emma Mhic Mhathúna, is available tomorrow for signing during library opening hours at Leixlip Library between 1pm to 8pm and Kildare County Council building in Naas, between 9am to 5pm.
Today she was laid to rest at Maynooth after a ceremony at the Pro Cathedral that stopped outside the Dáil, Government Buildings and the new Department of Health.
Mourners at the Pro-Cathedral were told Ms Mhic Mhathúna did not see her illness as part of God's plan, but rather as a result of human error.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar requested that the flag over Government Buildings be lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect to her and all the women and their families who have been affected by the Cervical Check crisis.
20 women are now dead with hundreds more very ill.
