Expert coming to Kildare Village to give tips on lighting in your home

Lovers of Irish design and innovation are invited to visit the Só Collective boutique at Kildare Village to meet Irish lighting designer Shane Holland.

As part of Kildare Village’s ‘From the Maker’ series, guests can unearth a passion for lighting in the home, gaining expert knowledge and tips from Irish lighting design talent, Shane.

Shane will showcase his contemporary Irish lighting designs in a talk at Só Collective in Kildare Village on Saturday, 6 August from 2-4pm and again on Thursday, 11 August from 7-8pm offering essential advice for lighting your home.

Kildare Village’s ‘From the Isle’ Summer Festival also offers visitors the chance to experience summer food outdoors at the Le Pain Quotidien BBQ which takes place at Le Pain Quotidien in Kildare Village every Thursday from 4pm.

Só Collective at Kildare Village is the new home exclusively devoted to Irish design talent – incorporating fashion, design, craft and culture and takes its name from the Gaelic word ‘Só’, meaning ‘treat or luxury’.

The space forms an integral part of the From the Isle initiative at Kildare Village designed to nurture and support Irish creative talent.
