Experts say Kildare pub could fetch up to €1.5m at auction

The Castletown Inn in Celbridge could reach between €1.4m and €1.5m at an auction next month, analysts say.

The well-known premises sits on a half acre site on the Main Street of the town.
Proprietor Noel Devine, who has owned and operated the pub and overhead restaurant for about 30 years, is selling the property as he plans to retire.
Joint agents REA Coonan and John P Younge said the property has lots of development potential as it has a car park to the rear consisting of 43 spaces as well as an adjoining two-storey house.
The Castletown Inn contains a spacious lounge, a cosy Speakers Bar as well as the upstairs Green's restaurant with a separate entrance and seating for approximately 65 people.
The auction takes place in Dublin on July 5.
