Families urged to start saving now for fuel for the winter

Co Kildare families have been urged to start saving fuel stamps now to be able to keep warm in the coming Autumn and Winter.
The saving scheme enables households to budget and spread the cost of heating their homes.
The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) is running the scheme in conjunction with the Department of Communications, Energy & Natural Resources.
The project is also supported by Money Advice and Budgeting Service (Mabs) and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
For more information on the scheme contact SVP in Naas at (045) 897 306.
