Family holding music festival in mum’s memory

The Whole Lotta Rosaleen Music Festival is run by the Talbot Family, in memory Rosaleen Talbot, who sadly passed away from a sudden illness in 2012.

Acts include: Heidi Talbot and John McCusker with David Burke, The Whole Hog, Rake The Ashes, Night Train, Neil O'Donnell, Juko, The Prodigi and DCM Guitar School.

The day-long event starts at the Old House Beer Garden, Kill on this Saturday at 1pm.

There is also a BBQ and Spot Prizes.

Proceeds are in aid of Saplings School Kill.

The Talbot family said:

"In 2016 The Whole Lotta Rosaleen Music Festival was set up by the Talbot Family, in memory of our mother Rosaleen Talbot, who sadly passed away from a sudden illness in 2012.

"Rosaleen had a great passion for music and passed this interest on to her children and throughout the community.

"Each year we hold this event in her memory and to raise money for charity.  This year our charity is Saplings Special School for Children with Autism and Complex Needs, Kill, Co. Kildare.

"The event will take place on Saturday 11th August 2018 in The Old House beer garden from 1pm till late.

"We have a GoFundMe page on Facebook for anyone that would like to make a donation or tickets for our Raffle are on sale in The Old House, Kill, with some great prizes including a holiday to Spain, weekends away and lots more."
