Foster homes sought for animals from KWWSPCA over Christmas period
20:30 Sunday 9th of December 2018
The KWWSPCA is looking for foster homes for the dogs living at its Shelter over the Christmas period.  Ideally from Sunday 23 December until Friday 27 December, or longer if it suits the foster family. This Christmas fostering was very successful last year. Not only does it give the dogs a chance of a home life for a few days but it also give the marvelous Shelter Volunteers a few days of rest.
All food, bedding and any other requirements will be supplied by the KWWSPCA, all  the foster family needs to do is to provide a home and some love and affection for a few days.  Walking a dog is also a great way to get rid of some of the Christmas excesses!  Homes without cats and small children would be best as the dogs are rescue dogs and we do not always know their backgrounds.
If you think you could help, please email your details or call the Helpline on 087 1279835.
A reminder, also, that the KWWSPCA is holding its Christmas Collection at Naas Farmers' Market today, Saturday 8 December.  The Market is located in Friary Road, Naas, in the car park of Trax Restaurant.  The Collection will take place from 9.30 - 2.30 and KWWSPCA Christmas cards and ISPCA Calendars and cards will also be on sale.
