Kildare wing back Rian Boran splits the Tyrone post with his strike from under the stand during the Allianz National Hurling League Division 2
Kildare recorded their expected win over Tyrone in the Allianz Hurling League Division game played at Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbrige, on Saurday afternoon.
While it was the visitors who opened the scoring inside the opening minute with a free from Aidan Kelly, it did not take Kildare long to respond with four points on trot as they took complete control. By 20 minutes The Lilies led 0-12 to 0-3 before Muiris Curtin found the Tyrone net.
Tyrone managed to get a few points before the break but it was Kildare who led comfortably 1-21 to 0-4, with no less than ten scorers getting on to the score sheet.
Little if anything changed in the second half as it was just a matter of going through the motions, Kildare adding on a further 1-13 to Tyrone's four points, in total aof 32 point difference on a final score line of Kildare 2-34 Tyrone 0-8, with a total of 13 Kildare players getting on to the score sheet.
