'St Conleth's playing surface has suffered' Kildare ladies' home game moved again

Pat Sullivan's Kildare side are winless in Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 and need to change that soon if they are to have any hope of staying up. They face The Royals this Saturday, February 28 at 5pm in Manguard Park, Hawkfield after the Kildare LGFA released a prompt update Monday morning that Cedral St Conleth's Park would not be able to host two games on Saturday with the Kildare men's footballers also set to face Meath on the same day, and noting that the playing surface has suffered quite significantly following recent weather conditions.

If fans are unable to make it to Mangaurd Park, the game can purchased to stream live on StreamSport.ie.

The Lilies came up short away from home against Dublin in a game, originally fixed for Parnell Park, that was shoved into the wild winds of O'Dwyers GAA in Balbriggan. The fixture boiled down to chances missed, referee debates and, most of all, who could manage the conditions.

Meath produced a superb performance in Dungarvan last time out to beat previously perfect Waterford by two points. The side are led by Kildare native Wayne Freeman and sit on two wins and two losses from their four league outings to this point.

The standings are far less perilous for the visitors at the weekend, but, based on previous encounters while manager of Clare, Freeman will be highly-motivated and looking to get one over on his home county.
