Kildare U16s begin Leinster 'A' Championship this weekend

Kildare U16s get their 2026 season under way this Saturday, March 7 when they face Carlow in the Leinster LGFA A Championship. Throw-in is set for 2pm in Netwatch Carlow Centre of Excellence, Fenagh (R21 YY09).

Adults tickets are €5 with Senior Citizens and Student tickets costing €3.

Castlemitchell's Amy Wall has been named captain of the Kildare team with Cappagh's Breffni Nolan named as vice captain.

Off the field, the senior team have their race day this Sunday, March 8 at Naas Racecourse in support of the Kildare Senior Ladies Training Fund. If you buy a ticket for the day out, you will receive a three-course meal with full table service, race entry and racecard, and there will live music afterwards.
