It's set to be another warm and sunny day today for Co Kildare, with Met Eireann predicting temperatures to reach between 20-25C, making it possibly the hottest day of the year!

Any mist or fog will soon clear this morning and it will be another warm and mostly sunny day today, Tuesday. There is a slight risk of isolated showers breaking out in inland parts of the province this afternoon and evening, but most parts should hold dry. Top temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees but a few degrees cooler along Irish Sea coasts. Winds will be mostly light to moderate east to northeast or variable.

Dry tonight with clear spells, but with patches of mist and low cloud returning. Mild, with lows of 11 to 13 degrees in slack easterly or variable breezes.

Tomorrow Wednesday will be another fine day with sunny spells, once early mist patches clear. Top temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees, but again a few degrees cooler near the coastal fringes in light to moderate east to northeast breezes
