Tayto, Ireland’s No.1 crisp and snacks brand, launches its online shop just in time for "Crispmas", the new name for Christmas amongst crisp lovers as Tayto launched their new website yesterday-which is sure to be a hit with Kildare people living abroad and missing home.

Stuck for some great Christmas presents or just want to treat yourself? Problem solved! Today marks the launch of Tayto’s new online shopping site, a one-stop-shop for all things Tayto, including Tayto merchandise and of course the Nation’s favourite Tayto crisps!

Tayto have teamed up exclusively with An Post to offer a delivery service across the Republic of Ireland. The online shop will be available all year round and will ensure, whether it’s a birthday or any other special occasion, there will be no more scratching of the head about what present to get!

Simply go to www.taytocrisps.ie/shop and send your loved one a present that can be delivered straight to their door- whether they live down the road or live on the other side of the Emerald Isle…

And, for those with family & friends abroad, who might not make it home for Christmas, a Tayto gift can be easily sent onwards from their local An Post office to their loved ones!

As always, the dapper man in the hat - Mr. Tayto, is on hand to show us how it all works in the video below:

Speaking about the new online offering, Carol McCaghy, Senior Brand Manager for Tayto, said: “We are delighted to offer online sales within Ireland. We saw high demand for our merchandise and crisps at our pop up shops; this coupled with the growth of online shopping made it inevitable for us to enter this arena. Mr. Tayto is very excited to offer this service and we hope to expand our offerings and shipping areas in the future.”

Gilles Ferrandez, Commercial Director Parcels, An Post said: “What a great present to receive in the mail this Christmas!  We’ll make sure these precious Tayto gifts reach loved ones near and far safely.  It’s best to get ordering early and to leave plenty of time for posting Tayto onwards to family and friends, in good time for Christmas."
