Grand Marshall needed to lead Sallins Christmas Parade

Sallins is looking for nominations for a Grand Marshall to lead its Christmas Parade on December 10.

The annual event from 2pm to 5pm is organised by the Sallins Business Association.

Santa will travel in a Christmas Train handcrafted by the Sallins Mens' Shed.

The parade will feature the Garda Mounted Unit, Newbridge Brass Band, Tullamore Brass Band, the Scouts and local groups.

Local children are invited to dress as their favourite characters.
