Happy Birthday to KildareNow! 2 years old today and still growing

KildareNow – Kildare’s favourite breaking news and sport website - is celebrating its Second Birthday today!

The award-winning site has been a fantastic success since we launched on September 7, 2015 and has grown to over 40,000 followers on Facebook and 1.3 million Page Views every month- and we're still growing!

A big Thank You to our readers who are a very big part of our success.

You have logged onto our site in your tens of thousands to read the latest news and sport from around Co Kildare as well as view photographs from local community events far and wide.

Our most-read stories are usually about local crime, courts, property and planning news, entertainment as well as obituaries and the weather.

We have also helped people find missing dogs and mobile phones! And on a more serious level, people have appealed for help to find long lost relations, including a biological father in one case.

Last year we also won an award in the Co Kildare Chamber annual business awards.

So here’s to the next year and lots more news to keep you clicking on KildareNow.

Thanks for all your support!
