Help wanted by Yarn Bombers to transform Newbridge

The Kildare Yarn Bombers are getting ready to bring colour and creativity to the Linear Park next Wednesday. The installation, part of JuneFest, has been created by over 1000 volunteers from aged 4 to 92 under the watchful eye of volunteer co-ordinator Annie Morris.

"The response this year has been quite overwhelming. All we need now is a bit of sunshine" said the Athgarvan artist.

Anyone who would like to help set up the installation is invited to join the team at the Liffey side park from 10am and bring scissors, cable ties and a ladder!
