Hermitage Green set to headline Naas Racecourse's first summer BBQ evening

Popular Irish folk rock band Hermitage Green have been announced as the headline act for Naas Racecourse's opening Summer Racing, BBQ & Music Evening on Wednesday June 27. Their second evening of their summer BBQ events will be headlined by the hugely popular, local traditional band Bunoscionn on July 25.

Hailing from Limerick, Hermitage Green are an Irish Acoustic Folk Rock Band that have toured in numerous countries all over the world. The band have played alongside the likes of Gavin James, Walking On Cars and The Pogues.

Dan Murphy, lead singer of Hermitage Green said:  “We’re really looking forward to playing at Naas Racecourse on June 27. Aside from performing at Naas, we can’t wait for a great evening of racing at their BBQ Summer Evening. Hopefully we might have a winner or two also.”

The BBQ’s are held in BBQ pavilion located adjacent to the parade ring and the package prices are from just €39. The package on offer includes admission to the races, a race card, a full BBQ meal, reserved table in the BBQ pavilion and access to live music after racing.

Racing on both evenings will kick off at approximately 6.00pm, last race at 9.00pm and music will start approx. 9:10pm.  Admission tickets to the races with access to live music after racing are also available online at www.naasracecourse.com.
