Kildare County Council (KCC) has announced a temporary closure of St Brigid’s Well at Tully, Kildare town.
The site will be closed from Wednesday, January 18, 2023 to Wednesday, January 25, 2023 inclusive.
KCC said that this will be done to facilitate upgrade works on site, including the installation of handrails at the entrance and bridge, along with surface works.
"Public access cannot be facilitated while these works are in progress on health and safety grounds," KCC said: "Upgrade works are due to be completed in time for St Brigid’s Day celebrations on site."

"Apologies for any inconvenience caused," KCC added.
