NOTICE: Irish Water currently repairing burst watermain in Kildare

Irish Water (also known as Uisce Éireann) is currently repairing a watermain which burst yesterday in North Kildare.

Due to a burst watermain, which is being repaired today, January 26, water supply to the following areas will be affected until 6pm this evening:

Allen, Pluckerstown, Kilmeague, Ballyteague, Allenwood, Bluetown,  Allenwood South, Lullymore, Drimsree, Killina, Dreenane, Derrintiurn, Ballyhagen, Ticknevin, Kilshawanny, Colleragh, Coill Dubh, Blackwood, Robertstown, Newtown Donore, Downings, Prosperous, Killybegs, Landenstown, Drummin West and Grangehiggin and surrounding areas.

Operations Lead for Irish Water, Kevin Love, said: "Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and we would like to thank impacted customers in advance for their patience while we work to complete the repairs and restore normal supply as quickly as possible."
