RTÉ Radio 1's The County Measure explore s the rich culture and identity of Co. Kildare. The County Measure Kildare will be broadcast on Bank Holiday Monday February 6 at 11am on RTÉ Radio 1.
Join writer and broadcaster Vincent Woods as he traverses the Kildare landscape on Saint Brigid's Bank Holiday Monday. As the nation celebrates the first holiday to honour Saint Brigid, her legacy and the culture of Kildare will be centre stage. The County Measure unco vers the vibrant arts, sports, history, heritage and diverse communities of Co. Kildare.
From the historic plains of the Curragh; the modern campus of Maynooth; to the thriving Chinese community- Vincent takes a measure of all that the land of the 'Lilywhites' has to offer.
The County Measure is a landmark RTÉ Radio 1 series that explores the identity and communities of Ireland's 32 counties.
