Labour Party councillor Angela Feeney
Bins left on footpaths at Doctor’s Lane in Maynooth are posing accessibility issues.
Labour Party councillor Angela Feeney told her fellow representatives at the latest Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting, which was held on Friday, February 3 last, about her wish for Kildare County Council (KCC) to write to businesses in the vicinity of Doctor’s Lane, in order to 'remind them of their responsibilities' concerning waste management.
She also said that the bins were proving to be a sightline issue for motorists.
Her motion was supported by Fine Gael Cllr Tim Durkan.
A representative for KCC told Cllr Feeney that the local Community Warden will contact the businesses concerned about the placement of the bins.
