A newly-set up football club based in Newbridge has launched a fundraiser on GoFundMe.
Newbridge Rovers AFC has appealed to the public to help it secure new goal posts.
According to organiser Ryan Quirke: "Our goals are in need of repair if not replacement and due to the short period of time we have coming up to the season.
"It’s hard to raise the funds alone in time: if you can donate anything at all, we would all truly appreciate it," he added.
As of the time of publication, the fundraiser has raised €70 of its €1,500 goal.
