New lights are being sought for the centre of Milltown Village.

Kildare County Council (KCC) was told about the request, which was put forward as part of a motion by Fine Gael councillor Mark Stafford at the latest Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District meeting on Wednesday, March 15.

"KLIPS is a system, where requests for new lighting will be scored on various factors and placed within KLIPS according to that score," KCC added.
