A man who allegedly assaulted his sister has appeared in Naas District Court.
The man, who has an address in Newbridge, is being prosecuted for assault at an address in west Wicklow, on October 22, 2020.
Sgt Dave Hanrahan said it will be claimed that the injured party’s bedroom was entered at 1am and she was punched in the face.
Sgt Hanrahan added that the injured party went for a scan and there were no fractures and no breaks.
He said there was a minor mark on her face.
Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the case to June 14.
