A Status Yellow Wind Warning has been issued for Kildare for Tuesday.
The Met Eireann alert comes into force at 5pm and lasts until 9pm.
The Warning also applies to Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Meath, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford.
Met Éireann said: "Strong westerly winds with very strong gusts expected for a short time Tuesday evening, causing some disruption."
