Kildare car garage to be pulled down to make way for apartment blocks

An Bord Pleanala grants permission with conditions for 75 apartments in Kilcock. 

The Kelly's Garage car showroom and shed on the Harbour will be demolished for the development. 

A total of 10  terraced houses and 65  apartments of varying sizes will be built.

Three apartment blocks ranging from 3 to 4 storeys in height are in the designs.

Car and bicycle parking is also included including an ESB substation and solar panels at roof level of apartment blocks.

A concurrent planning application is being made to Meath County Council as part of the site is in Co Meath. 

The estimated value of the development is €17m, according to the Building Information Ireland database.
