Road works will take place in one region located within the Athy Municipal District for five days, Kildare County Council has said.
KCC has said that it gives notice of the works on behalf of Roadstone Limited, that in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, that it will be closing the following road: the L8096 from its junction with the L4016 Knockroe to L8095 Corballis Cross Roads.
The works will take place from Monday, May 15, to Friday, May 19, 2023, inclusive between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
This closure is being undertaken in order to facilitate road maintenance works on this route.
Traffic travelling on the L4016 proceed towards Baltinglass to junction with the L8095, turn left, and proceed to Corballis, next junction on left.
Traffic travelling on the L4016 towards Castledermot proceed to next junction, Graney West with the L8100, turn right, and proceed to next junction Plunketstown Lower, turn right and proceed to Corballis.
"Any inconvenience caused is regretted," KCC said.
