Demolition proposed for site in North Kildare by Irish Rail

Demolition has been proposed for a site located in North Kildare.

According to planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council, Irish Rail / Iarnród Éireann intends to carry out the demolition at Straleek in Celbridge.

Specifically, Irish Rail intends to demolish three derelict former dwellings within the compound of the site.

The organisation is also seeking permission for all associated site works.

The date received is listed as May 10, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as June 13 and July 4 respectively.
