It’s officially the start of the summer! The Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival, the first Classic weekend of the Irish flat racing season, takes place on Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May at the Curragh Racecourse
Themed as Friday Night Fever, the 26th May is a fun evening meeting of fabulous racing followed by a live performance by the superb 70’s tribute band, Abbaesque.
The events team at The Curragh Racecourse are asking racegoers to raid their wardrobes and come along in their best 70’s and Abba costumes with Irish Derby tickets up for grabs for the best dressed on the night.

Tickets are available online now. Under 18s are always free on race days at The Curragh Racecourse, when accompanied by an adult.

Free shuttle bus available - The racecourse continues to provide a free shuttle bus service in association with Manguard Plus to and from Newbridge and Kildare for all race days.
The return Expressway service from Dublin will also be in operation for the Saturday and Sunday of Guineas Festival. The service will depart from Busáras, stopping at the Red Cow Luas Stop before continuing to The Curragh Racecourse. Book online at expressway.ie
