Met Eireann is warning of heavy downpours through this afternoon, this evening and early tonight as a Thunderstorm and Rain Warning has been issued for Kildare and most of Ireland.
A Status Yellow Thunderstorm and Rain warning is in place for Leinster, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary and Waterford. It remains in place until 10pm on Monday.
Met Eireann is warning that there will be localised slow-moving showers with heavy downpours, potential thunderstorms and a chance of hail. These conditions could bring localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
Low pressure to the SW is going to steer a warm & humid airmass over the country along with some instability. ️⛈️
