The road has been blocked by the lorry.
A lorry has overturned on the Rathangan-Naas Road at Boston Hill.
Kildare County Council (KCC) has put out the following notice in relation to the incident: "Please note that the L-3002 Boston Hill is temporarily closed at the moment due to a traffic accident.
"Diversions are in place and clean up operation has commenced.
"The road will reopen when cleared."
KCC added: "Your co-operation is appreciated and any inconvenience caused is regretted."
