Kildare gardaí arrest unaccompanied learner driver who failed roadside breath test

Gardaí in County Kildare have arrested an unaccompanied learner driver who failed roadside breath test.

According to the official Garda Traffic account on Twitter: "The Naas Roads Policing Unit saw a motorist driving whilst using a mobile phone.

"They were stopped and the driver was found to be an unaccompanied learner driver who failed a roadside breath test for Cannabis and was arrested."

"Proceedings to follow," the account added.
