KILDARE: Cemeteries receive financial assistance

St Corban's Cemetery, Naas

A number of cemeteries in the greater Naas area have received financial assistance from Kildare County Council.

A total of €4,325 has been provided for maintenance work and the money was provided on the basis of individual applications.

Bodenstown Cemetery was approved for €1,070 while Oughterard Cemetery, near Castlewarden, Kill received. €535

Some €595 will be spent at St. Columcille, Rathmore, with €335 going to the burial ground at Maudlins, Dublin Road, Naas.

St John’s Kill has been approved for €595 and St David’s, Naas, gets €335 with €860 going to the cemetery at Eadestown.
