Kildare Death Notices for Wednesday, August 2, 2023

RIP to the late Anne Carmel Coughlan (née Doyle), Eric Heinz Leahy and John Moran.

The death has occurred of Anne Carmel Coughlan (née Doyle)

Curragreen, Galway / Wexford Town, Wexford / Kilcock, Kildare.

Formerly of O’Connell Avenue, St John’s Road, Wexford, 'Abkhazia', Curragreen, Galway and Parke House, Kilcock, Kildare. Anne, adored wife of the late Prof. Michael Coughlan (RIP 1993) and mother of Tara, Sorcha, Cillian and Neal.

Much loved Nana to Emma, Brian, Jack, Hannah, Toby, April and Zoe and mother-in-law to Darragh, Tom and Sinead. Sister of John, Mary and Dick. Predeceased by her siblings Kathleen, Andy, Alsie, Larry, Paddy, Lily, Jenny, Thelma and Nuala.

She will be dearly missed by her large extended family, nieces and nephews and her many friends in particular Carmel and Marie. 

Grateful thanks to all who cared for Anne: the Medical, Nursing and Orthopaedic staff at Tallaght University Hospital and Cherry Blossom Tymon and all the wonderful staff at Parke House.

Her family wish to specially thank all the Health Care Assistants who were so much part of her care at the end of her life.

Removal on Friday morning from William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church Street, Kilcock (W23 XC90) to St Coca’s Church, Kilcock arriving for 12 noon funeral Mass.

Family burial will take place on Saturday in Galway.

The death has occurred of Eric Heinz Leahy

Hollywood Rath, Tyrrelstown, Dublin / Newbridge, Kildare.

Peacefully, at home. Sadly missed by his loving parents John and Frieder, daughters Sasha, Sara, Lauren and their mother Karen, brother Nigel, sister in law Orlaith, nieces Sophia and Ava, nephew Nathan, aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Eric Rest In Peace 

Reposing at Glennons Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge, on Wednesday from 5pm with rosary at 7pm.

Removal on Thursday to arrive at Mount Jerome Crematorium, for Funeral service at 1pm.

The death has occurred of John Moran

68 Coney Meadows, Coneyboro, Athy, Kildare

Formerly of Cloney, Athy.  Predeceased by his loving parents Tommy and Noreen. 

Deeply regretted by his loving and devoted wife Clodagh, his two fur babies Buddy and Teddy, brothers David, Tom and Dermot, sister Lorraine , mother-in-law Margaret, James, sisters-in-law Caroline , Aisling, Joanne, Ann-Marie, Claire and Aoife, brother-in-law Brian, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his family home, Cloney, Athy (R14 RT21) on both Wednesday and Thursday afternoon (August 2 and 3) from 4pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Friday  morning to arrive at St Michael's Parish Church, Athy, for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie/

Burial afterwards in Cloney Cemetery.
