Two new bus shelters have been proposed for a site located in North Kildare.
Kildare County Council has said that, in accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention of to construct the bus shelters at the two following location: Bus Stop 7313, Beech Park Estate, Green Lane, Leixlip, and Bus Stop 7314, Beech Park Estate, Green Lane, Leixlip.
The council added: "Drawings showing the proposed works may be inspected, by appointment only, during normal opening hours from Tuesday, August 1, 2023 to Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the following locations: Kildare County Council, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces Department, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare; and will also be available to view on Kildare County Council’s website.
"Representations relating to the above mentioned proposed works may be made in writing to the: A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces Department, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare.
"Please include your Eircode.
"The latest date for receipt of such representations is 12 noon on Friday, September 8, 2023," Kildare County Council concluded.
