Several one-bed apartments are planned for the edge of the Curragh plains.
The proposed eight homes are earmarked for a site adjoining The Brownstown Inn in Brownstown.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council for the demolition of the existing single-storey vacant building with a floor area of circa 179 m2.
Being planned is the construction of a development consisting of a two-storey detached residential block.
The block will comprise of eight one-bedroom apartments with a total floor area of circa 560 square metres.
A new parking area accessed from the Suncroft Road is also proposed.
Landscaping and all associated site developments are also planned.
