Kildare folks watch out! Not one but two Weather Warnings issued

Two Weather Warnings for Kildare today and tomorrow

A Status Yellow Rain Warning has been issued for Kildare as well as Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Dublin, Longford, Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Wicklow, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo for between 5pm on Friday to 6am on Saturday. 

Forecasters issued alerts about heavy rain with thundery downpours on Friday and Friday night.

Potential Impacts may be:
• Spot flooding
• Difficult travelling conditions
• Wave overtopping on eastern facing coasts

A Status Yellow Wind Warning will also come into effect for Kildare from 9pm on Friday to 6am on Saturday.  

Potential Impacts may be:

• Damage to temporary structures

• Travel disruption

• Power outages

Forecasters said: "Becoming very windy with southeast winds, veering southwest gusting up to 110km/h, higher on exposed coasts and hills."
