Gardaí based in County Kildare have arrested a disqualified motorist who was caught speeding at 135 kilometres per hour in a 100 kilometres per hour zone.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter: "Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped this car which was speeding at 135km/h in a 100km/h zone on the N7 this week.
"The driver produced a fake driving licence but a check on the mobility app revealed he was disqualified for two years."
"He was arrested, to appear in court again soon," the account added.
