A planned water outage will affect certain parts of Newbridge tomorrow.
Local Social Democrats councillor Chris Pender has said that Irish Water / Uisce Éireann contractors will be carrying out major works in Newbridge on Wednesday, August 30.
He explained: "The water supply to the following areas will be disrupted from 8pm until approximately 4am.
"All housing estates from Ballymany Cross as far as the Liffey Bridge, including all of the main street, Pairc Mhuire, Dara Park, Highfield, The Oaks, St Dominics Park, College Park, Station Road, The Meadows, Roseberry Hill, Rosconnell, Green Road, Morristown Cross, Stand house Cross, Moorefield Road, Morristown Cross to Byrnes Cross, Roseberry area, Hawkfield, Milltown Road, Milltown and surrounding areas."
Cllr Pender added: "Please note it may take a couple of hours for the water supply to return to normal levels and customers may experience some discoloration in their supply following the works."
