Met Éireann warns of hot weather

Met Eireann is warning of high temperatures and a 'risk of weather related incidents' in the coming days.

In a warning issued this morning, Wednesday, the national forecaster predicts very warm and humid weather on Thursday and Friday. Daytime temperatures will be in excess of 27 degrees in many areas away from coasts with night time temperatures not falling below 15 degrees.

Potential impacts:

• Heat stress
• Uncomfortable sleeping conditions
• Risk of water related incidents

This high heat warning is in place from 8am tomorrow, Thursday, to 8am on Saturday, September 9.
